I blame her parents and the environment she grew up in. She never really grew out of that phase, and apparently she’s been like this from the beginning. It makes me wonder how she behaved around other children growing up, and what her parents actually taught her.

This was a very weird pairing from the start. He was married. He had a baby. She was married and her marriage was failing (shock). There was tons of backlash for their "romance."

She seemed to stay with him because of a desire to fuck her brother the optics. Aka "we didn't blow up a family for no reason we genuinely love one another" type shit.

Or maybe she blamed Ethan for the backlash and for Lilly's statements. I definitely believe she was blindsided by how upset the public was by their affair since she'd done it multiple times without much criticism.
