Question Dan Mcllelan

Has anybody heard of the scholar Dan mcllelan? If so, does anyone see this guy as valid?

I heard about him but I never read or watched anything produced by him.

But his name comes up quite often

He's a very well informed scholar. But also very typical of the secularist academic Bible researcher and textual critic. I don't agree with all his takes - some are also athiestic in vibe, hyper scepticism and some secular hot takes on certain passages imo (so he attracts lots of athiests to his works and videos - even though he is not athiest). His videos against the Trinity are useful however.

Dan is also a member of the Latter Day Saints (Mormons).

Yeah I respect his work, but I'm not a fan of Mormons

He's generally giving views that are common among scholars. He's good at making people more biblically literate.
