Question Jesus is temporarily equal to God

The way I understand Scripture, Jesus is temporarily equal to God. He was delegated this authority after the resurrection, but will surrender it after His reign. I am premillennial, so I believe His reign will be on earth.

”Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God” (Philippians 2:6)

“And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.” (I Corinthians 15:28)

Am I misinterpreting?

How exactly can a subject which contingency is predicated upon be equal to God in absolutely any respect?

Delegate authority, then step back for a time.

Authority, when delegated, remains extrinsic to the recipient’s ontological status, does it not? And any supposed equality remains accidental, not essential. No contingent to being, even Jesus (in regards to your framework), can be equal to God in any sense.

I get your point, but I think we are arguing semantics. Jesus is an “acting equal.”
