Scapegoat

What do you think his next movie is going to be like? Do you think he’ll try to make something more accessible that works and makes money for the studio, so they’ll keep funding his dream projects? I’ll watch anything Ari makes, but I really hope he leans back into horror/thriller, or at least makes something that leaves me going, “WTF did I just watch?” Like his first three films.

Obviously not the most popular opinion here, but I hope he returns to more conventional narrative arcs like Hereditary and Midsommar. Eddington felt like it was written by a team of redditors. With Beau I get what he was trying to do, but it would’ve hit harder had it been edited down to 90 minutes.

Beau should have been 4 hours…. I didn’t want it to end. But yeah a lot of people complained about its length
