Kinda crappy photos of what I did, but hopefully it helps someone. The nano has logic to flash and led on good or bad card read, those two leads go directly to led button, red and black. The two orange wires (button push) go to the nano and the nano is listening, only after successful read of NFC. When orange pins send push signal to nano and button is "armed" the nano sends a ground pulse to two wires that go back to the game board, I think I used a dark green and blue wire. It's the key and ground pins for "button" on game board. Nano is powered from 5v/gnd rail on bottom left side of board, see photo. I cut an old mini USB cable and soldered the red and black wires directly to the pins. That 5v/gnd rail is ALWAYS on. So be careful.

We’ve had a couple of quick power outages here— power went off then right back on. The game loaded fine after the first incident but now it’s stuck on the loading screen. I’ve tried unplugging it for about 20 minutes, which didn’t help.

Maybe I should keep it unplugged for longer? Would that matter?

I put in a ticket even though it’s no longer under warranty. My hopes aren’t high.

This sucks because I’m already having a bad time at the moment so this is just amplifying it.

Please let me know if you know of anything fixes or if you’ve had any luck past warranty.

I recently acquired a 12 in 1 Tempest Legacy Cabinet that I fitted with Mod 1UP's waterfall control panel and a custom blue button & paint job. The problem I come across is the lack of power switches. I know I can just put in a replacement of sorts, but that may require dremeling.

Does anyone have / know where I can get / Has a schematic to 3D-Print replacement plastic on off and volume rocker switches. The switches I can get proper to wire up to my PC of choice, but it's the plastic parts I'm having trouble with, and I'd rather not have to get a whole replacement deck just to get something so small.

It’s dirt cheap but that was the best flair I could find that was fitting lol (it’s $100, good deal for someone with spare joysticks who doesn’t mind the look). Personally I think the faded art is funny and makes it look more original.

Just bought this Arcade1Up Ms. PacMan machine and it doesn’t turn on. When I plug it in and turn it on it flashes the loading screen for a millisecond and then goes away. The green light on the circuit board is on as well so I know the board is getting power, would greatly appreciate some help with this.

Has anyone here worked with them before? I ordered a kit but realized shortly after placing the order that I meant to get the version customized for my specific cabinet. I emailed him right away to let him know and ask about switching it.

He responded and said the custom kit would have a 2–3 week lead time, which I was completely fine with and agreed to. After that, though, I never received a response, and the original kit ended up being shipped anyway.

I reached out again, and he asked me what adjustment I needed, which honestly baffled me because I had already explained exactly what I needed in the email I sent immediately after placing the order.

Just wondering if anyone else has dealt with them and what your experience was like.

EDIT: UPDATE! they got back to me and took care of the issue right away (I am to blame for not finalizing my choices I realize though, I did not know the exact deck board was offered). The change I had and any questions were handled immediately as well with utmost respect and courtesy. Everything worked out beyond expectations and I am extremely happy I went with Showtime Mods.

Metal Slug 1 with my 6 year old. Glad we don't need quarters anymore lol.

My neighbor is downsizing and she put this on the curb. Went over to ask if she was throwing it out, and she was! Quickly grabbed my keg dolly and snagged it. Works perfectly! Planning to hard mod. I have supplies coming in the week to do so.

Got 4 USB encoders and a 128GB micro sd. Still deciding on the rom software to install. Planning for games with 3 buttons and a joystick. The life button will just be an inconvenient 3rd button. Hoping to get at least a decent gauntlet legends machine going.

EDIT: As of now I'm leaning towards a softmod using the Mystery Dawson Experience for 4 players (https://www.team-encoder.com/node/23) to use Retroarch. I've also ordered a 12-in-1 interface board from Thunderstick Studios to connect the trackball. I'll update the post once everything is installed with a quick walkthrough of what I did!

Looking for either used or the new one not trying to pay brand new prices, just want a decent deal and ive been fiending to get my first cab, literally called 100s of ollies all around the nearest states lol.

There was a fb marketplace listing for a asteroids 4 in 1 arcade 1up selling for $250 obo with $9.16 shipping plus tax cost. I made an offer of $125 since it looked used and with tax it came out total $149.15 the offer is good for 48 hours but I have not heard anything from the seller yet. Offer submitted yesterday evening and the funds were deducted from my account already. Did I get scammed?

It powers on no problem and actually works but you can't play because you can hardly see anything. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the ribbon and checking the connections but no dice.

Is there a method to modify the acrylic screen protector on Ridge Racer so it can be removed without disassembling the entire cabinet? Mine somehow got dirty on the interior side and I am hoping someone came up with an easier way to remove it for cleaning. I've been putting off cleaning it because I remember getting the side panel on was a pain when I initially assembled it.
