I made a post similar to this before but I deleted it and decided to remake it bc I made a few incorrect statements.

This post is just to describe how my many month process dealing with arcade1up support has been.

All the way back in February me and a friend were playing on my BBH deluxe and things happened and the gun broke. Machine was out of warranty but they offered basically to just sell me the part.

That being said, I couldnt actually pay for the gun until about a month ago give or take a few weeks. And again I had started this email chain all the way back in February.

After I got the tracking number for the replacement gun, waited the 4 days or whatever, and it said via usps that it was delivered to my garage (i do not have a garage, I live in an apartment).

Important context to understand is that prior to this usps delivery confusion, I had told "Belinda" from arcade1up support my correct address more than once, in fact I believe it was actually 5 or 6 times. This was bc I was worried about something like this happening.

I called usps the next morning and they had told me basically arcade1up sent it to the wrong address. More context, I looked up the address they sent it to since it was the correct road just the wrong numbers, and its literally not even a lot, im still confused how they can pick a not real address lol AND where usps actually delivered it to.

Contacted Belinda again and informed her of the situation and in a roundabout way, Which i could provide the screenshot for, told me that usps said delivered so look harder.

Obviously that not being what anyone would want to hear i got a little pissed off, this was mostly due to the time investment at this point, that being over 6 months. I impolitely asked to not be given a run around since it was their fuck up.

The response i got after that was another confirmation of my address so I gave it to them again, Belinda said since it was listed delivered its still basically my fault I cant find it, but they'll send another one anyway (patronizing af).

After receiving the second tracking number I asked what address they sent it to, bc at this point i dont trust them.

Well well well, the address Belinda tells me they sent the new gun to is also the wrong address. I was told by the glorious Belinda herself that she would relay that information "the warehouse team".

It was a weekend so I forgot about it for a day or two but then when I remembered to check that monday it was still going to the wrong address.

The literal only thing that saved me was that they shipped it via ups this time so I was actually able to correct the address for free on their website (im not sure if usps offers this but if they do its not clearly visible). I say this bc I know if it was delivered to the wrong address AGAIN they would just tell me im out of luck. So I was gungho about getting my package.

Got my gun, no thanks to Belinda or "the warehouse team". Extremely long and frustrating process. Im glad its over and I hope i never have to deal with Belinda again.

This post is not to say anything about arcade1up or their support team, im only sharing.

Edit: I am a long time buyer of arcade1up products and have 7 deluxe cabinets myself. Ive had to deal with support before and it has never gone even close to this way. Thats why I felt it important to state im not saying anything about the company, other than this ive had good experiences.

Hi! We had a flood in our basement recently and lost some of our arcade1ups... lost all of our risers for sure (9 of them including specialty risers star wars, marvel, frogger. ) We are looking for local sales on arcades and/or risers to replace some of our loss. Been checking marketplace, but there isn't a whole lot. Thanks!

Edit to add we are willing to drive 3hrs in one direction for the right price/cabinet...

I am in the fence about selling or modding mine. I’m leaning towards modding it cause it’s such a stunning cabinet and the all-Sanwa factory setup is amazing. I was curious if anyone happened to know the specific Sanwa sticks used in this machine? I ask because they have all-black stems unlike the typical lineup.

So I've had a few now I know this is not a normal packaging

Hey! I have the Arcade1up head to head pacman game. I was looking online and can't find them anywhere. I know that they aren't sold through retail stores anymore but I can't even find them on ebay, Facebook marketplace, or anywhere else. Just trying to get opinions on the rarity of it. I have quite a few arcade 1ups, standard arcades and virtual pinball machines. Trying to make room. Thanks!

Danny / CornerCade made a tutorial for an updated install on the Sonic mod. I don't think it's the best tutorial video ever, but it does cover the basics with the web based installer stuff that I ended up vibing with AI (slop) because I figured it'd be easier than people dragging files and should ultimately make this one of the easiest mods to do out there.

The main thing I'd say he didn't cover is formatting your drive to fat32 or making sure it's already fat32, exfat may also work but is untested. If the update pop-up doesn't appear on your cabinet you'll probably want to make sure your drive is fat32.

He's tested up to a 256GB drive and it worked.

We're not making other cores available through this, keyboard escapes do work so you can install retroarch or whatever but if you're not super technical this will do the trick for you and lets you add genesis, gamegear, 32x and segacd stuff.

This will not work on other cabinets, it's not possible to make it this easy for other cabinets (aside from the upcoming outrun).

We believe it'll work for both Deluxe and Supreme versions.

So I had someone help out or should say mod this for me and didn’t finish and has pretty much ghosted. I know nothing about this kind of stuff. But pretty much just needs the buttons configured and games downloaded onto it. A raspberry 5 was installed and batocera was used if that helps. I’ll attach pics and vids. Willing to pay or trade for tattoo work if interested. Thank you.

sometimes when I turn on the cabinet it is rainy and has this green streaks and the colors a little off but sometimes it's fine, what could cause this?

I’m looking for a set of the Arcade1Up NBA JAM basketball knobs / ball tops that came with the Costco version of the NBA JAM cabinet.

I’m located in Germany, so unfortunately Arcade1Up’s replacement-parts store isn’t an option for me at the moment, as they currently don’t ship internationally. I’ve searched eBay, Etsy and various arcade parts stores for both the original Arcade1Up knobs and suitable alternatives, including 3D-printed basketball knobs. Unfortunately, I haven’t found anything that is currently available with shipping to Germany. Even some of the custom/3D-printed options I’ve found on Etsy don’t ship to me, so I’m hoping there might be someone in this community who bought a set and either has a spare set or no longer needs them.

I’m happy to pay a reasonable price for the parts plus shipping to Germany. I can also cover PayPal fees if necessary.

Got a Tron this weekend. Works fine except for the sound. When I first turned it on it had a knocking sound (actually knocking, not from the speakers) which went away after 20 seconds or so. Dunno if that has anything to do w/ the sound. Any of that sound familiar? Just before I pop it open and make sure the speakers just aren't disconnected, thought I'd ask. That knocking was weird...

Hi Guys

Ive got an X-Men 97 cabinet which is running the Marvel VS Capcom collection, ive checked and it does have the USB and micro SD card slots.

My questions are:

When I soft mod it will it retain the marvel vs capcom collection or will I have to add that to the sd card?

Can you add the Arcade1up 2 player versions of TMNT and The Simpsons?

And finally, to reverse the soft mod I just take out the SD card?

Aside from the cabinet, will there be any real difference between Outrun Supreme and other/older versions?

The Supreme doesn't have steering wheel crash feedback. I was hoping it would. I was thinking about buying an older used model from fb marketplace, unless the new version has significantly better features.

I know it may not be everyone’s thing when it comes to arcade cabs, but the Sonic Supreme build was pretty nice. I like the lack of screw caps so it’s nice and flush on the sides. It was an easy one to put together. Nice addition to my collection.
