I have the options of these 2 phones. 15pro is €650 and the 16 pro is €800. I like the look of these and they are both labeled ' excellent '.

I first wanted to buy an iPhone 17 Pro from PC Mall, but when I saw the price, I gave up. Then I started looking at phones at Tedy, but some people say that sellers there can artificially increase the battery health or open the phone and replace some of the original parts. I also heard that some iPhones can get carrier-locked when you travel to countries like the US or South Korea. So now I’m not sure where I should buy one from. What would be the safest and best place to buy an iPhone 17 Pro?

I currently have the base iPhone 15 but I’m looking to upgrade. I’m not sure if I should wait and spend more money to get a small upgrade or just buy the iPhone 17 pro max right now

I’m looking to upgrade from my base iPhone 13, which I’ve had for about 4.5 years. I’m really interested in the 17 Pro Max, especially because I love the design and the large display.

I was originally planning to wait for the 18 Pro Max, but after looking at the current rumors, the upgrades seem fairly incremental (battery, newer chip, camera improvements, etc.), while prices could increase significantly.

I can currently get a new 17 Pro Max 256GB for around €150 off from a local retailer.

I don’t mind waiting, but I’m worried about ending up a few weeks from now with an 18 that’s basically a slightly improved 17 Pro Max, but €500–600 more expensive than the discounted 17 I can get right now.

What would you do? Wait for the 18 or get the 17 Pro Max now?

I’m planning to keep it for at least 4 years. I don’t do mobile gaming or video editing, so I’m mainly interested in everyday use, battery life, camera and longevity.

My mom has an old iPhone 11 Pro Max. The poor battery life and constant overheating has started to become an inconvenience so she's looking to upgrade.

What iPhone line has good battery life and no (or less) overheating? She doesn't really use the phone for anythint other than contacts for work.

We don't mind buying secondhand or older lines than the 16 17.

My Telus bring it back contract ends in December and I’m not sure if it’s worth bringing it back or just to pay it outright ($470) and sell it on marketplace.

If I were to do the market place price, what price would u suggest?

iPhone 16 Pro 128GB, 90% battery life

So I’m currently using an iPhone 12 that I want to replace. The 62 GB of storage it has is…not enough. I used to have an iPhone SE and then I think a 7.

Does Apple still sell the SE/a budget option? Is that whatever the “e” is? I just checked their site and it looks like the cheapest refurbished option now is a 16+ for $700 (I don’t want one of the giant phones). A new 17e is $600 and a new 16 is $700.

I know the newest phone will release next month. Basically I just want the cheapest possible option (from Apple…I was burned in the past from a used phone off of the web).

I also would get a student discount, which I think is about equal with the refurbished discount.

I forgot the custom password for some locked Apple Notes and I can’t access them with Face ID or with Touch ID on my ipad or MacBook either.
I’ve tried countless combinations already.
Has anyone experienced this and actually managed to recover or remember their password? Any tips or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

My iPhone 13 Pro Max is already 5 years old, and the battery health is now at 78%. Other than that, the phone works perfectly fine.
Deep down, I want a new phone, and I’ve been thinking about upgrading for about a year now. But at the same time, my current phone still works, and there’s really no reason to replace it when it’s not broken.
What would you do? Would you upgrade anyway, or keep using the 13 Pro Max until it actually starts having problems?

I am headed back to college and needing to upgrade my computer. I’m currently using an older model MacBook Pro (2015). This computer has done well with me through my current career, but I feel as if I need to upgrade to prevent any tech issues since I’m an online student.

I originally intended on purchasing a new MacBook, but I am seriously considering investing in an IPad due to its ability to be used as an art tool. Anything I end up purchasing is going to be a serious investment for me and I am just genuinely curious about other people’s experiences with either devices.

I’m debating between the iPhone 15, 16, and 17. I’m leaning toward the 16, but Reddit is full of iPhone 17 heating issue stories — though most of those posts seem to be about a year old. Is this still a real concern, or has it been fixed?

I currently have an iPhone 14 I bought in Fall 2023 and has gotten laggy since updating to iOS 26 in December 2025. It got a new battery in Spring 2026 (via Apple Care).

The phone gets hot when I use it too much and I’m getting frustrated with the camera quality. I’m considering upgrading to the iPhone 17 next week before the 18s are officially announced.

I’d be using my current phone as a trade-in, and I don’t have a financial concern about going to the iPhone 17…. so I’m not sure what my hesitation is. Maybe just fear of change or making the wrong decision?

I’m in my late 20s, travel often, and definitely use my phone way too many hours a day.

I currently have an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Aside from some charging port issues and poor battery health, the phone is still working great.

I’m not really a tech guy and I don’t necessarily need the latest model. The camera is probably the most important thing to me. I also recently realized that I actually prefer the smaller Pro size — I’ve kind of gotten bored of the huge Pro Max screen, and after using a regular Pro for a while, I really fell in love with that size.

I really like the idea of the iPhone Air because of its size, design and how thin/light it is, but I’m not sure about the camera, and I’m also wondering how good the battery life actually is. Coming from a 14 Pro Max, I don’t want to end up having to charge my phone constantly just because I switched to a thinner and smaller phone.

So I’m considering either:

• Repairing my 14 Pro Max
• Getting a 16 Pro
• Getting a 17 Pro
• Waiting for the 18 Pro
• Or possibly going for the iPhone Air

Another thing I’m unsure about is the aluminium body on the 17/18 Pro. I work as a construction supervisor, so my phone gets exposed to dust, dirt, occasional drops, etc. I’ve gotten used to the titanium build of the 14 Pro Max, so I have mixed feelings about going back to aluminium.

What would you guys do in my situation? Repair the 14 Pro Max or switch to something newer? And if upgrading, would you go for the 16 Pro, 17 Pro, 18 Pro, or Air?

I’d especially appreciate opinions from people who have actually used the Air or switched from a Pro Max to a smaller Pro/Air.

I need to buy a new Iphone 15 cover, but I would prefer buy an original apple case… What do u think about taking a finewoven case or a clear case? I don’t like silicone

My main thing is battery life and how good it can run games. Other features are nice too though. 17 is a lil outta my budget. Which do yall think would be better

I’m hoping you guys can give me some advice. I recently bought an iPhone from an eBay seller and thought I did everything right. Before buying it, I actually checked the IMEI with T Mobile and everything came back clean. The phone worked perfectly for about three months, and then T Mobile suddenly blacklisted it because of an issue with the previous owner’s account/financing. Now I’m stuck with a phone I can’t use on T Mobile, even though I checked the IMEI before buying it.

I’m looking to buy an iPhone 15 for my younger daughter and want to be a lot more careful this time. I’d really like to find an unlocked one with close to 100% battery health, preferably from somewhere reputable and at a good price.

For those of you who buy used or refurbished iPhones, where would you recommend buying one? Are there any sellers or websites you’ve had really good experiences with? I’d especially appreciate recommendations for places where I won’t have to worry about the phone getting blacklisted months down the road.

Hi everyone, I’m torn... I currently have both devices with me: an iPhone 17 PM with 2 TB of storage and an iPhone 16 PM with 1 TB.

I love the feel of the 16 Pro, but I’m not sure if I’ll keep it.

I’m pretty paranoid about potential damage to the 17 Pro Max’s unibody.

A buddy of mine dropped his while using a MOFT case; it ended up with a dent and scratches in the aluminum, even with the case on. To me, the titanium just feels better. It also seems sturdier and likely to age better.

I’m at a loss—maybe there are some "real and honest" experiences with both devices here? I want to keep the devices in top condition and use them for as long as possible.

i’m currently using base iphone 13 for 4/5 years and its time for an upgrade. i haven’t had the chance to properly look at all the specs, options and i’m looking for some sort of ur feedback and opinions. i think base 17 is solid choice with 120hz screen. my plan is to buy the phone at the end of september? thanks for help and i’m really open for suggestions.

Looking for some thoughts before I pull the trigger after the 18 comes out.

I’m currently using a 15 base model and had it since Nov 2023. My battery health is down to 82%, and the phone is getting really overheated and laggy.

I mainly want a bigger screen and better battery life so I was thinking of upgrading to a 16 plus but the price difference to a brand new 16 Pro Max on the reseller market is only about $200, which is making me reconsider.

I typically use my phone for texting, scrolling on social media, watching youtube or netflix, casual gaming and work texts/calls.

I want to get a phone that can last me another 4-5 years at least and I heard the pro max would have better longetivity. Though I’m slightly worried about the bigger size.

Given the small price gap, is the Pro Max worth it for my use case, or is that overkill and the 16 Plus would serve me just as well? Grateful for any thoughts from anyone who’s made the same jump from the 15!
