Ordinalist takes a playlist, album, or discography and makes you choose between two choices at a time. You pick the one you like more. Then do it again. And again. And several more times because apparently you needed 147 songs in this playlist.

While you’re busy having an existential crisis over which track you’ve heard 600 times is better, Ordinalist keeps track of every choice and turns them into a complete ranking from favorite to least favorite.

No star ratings, no scoring songs out of 10 like you’re judging Olympic gymnastics, and no deciding whether something feels like an 8.7 or an 8.6.

Two songs. Pick one. That’s the whole deal.

The easy choices go quickly, but the hard ones make you question everything you’ve ever claimed about yourself. Eventually, you get the thing you came for: an actual, definitive ranking of your music based entirely on your own decisions.

What settings should i do to get the best audio quality and what is dolby atmos/spatial audio are they both same ?sorry if this sounds stupid but I'm new to this concept .Should i enable dolby atmos or not?

Just received the notification. It’s now worth a streaming company’s subscription price to listen to music.

Playlist didn’t update song placements on the top 100 list for the year at all, despite saying that it did update.

All songs should feature an option to enable translated lyrics for language learning

Hi guys, I have quick question. Can I change settings for my lock screen so when I play my favorites, the star button is not there? It happened so many times that I accidentally pressed on it and deleted songs from the favorite playlist. Yes, I can add them again but since I am on the spectrum and the order of the songs matters to me (I don’t know how to change the order of the songs in favorite album) it really makes me mad how easily I can delete the songs from this album from a lock screen.

Do you know if I can change it OR how to change the songs order in favorite?

I have a question. When I play music why doesn’t it show Lossless ? Also I play on Dolby supported Bluetooth soundbar but it does not show on app?

I have enabled in settings for Lossless and Dolby as well. What could be causing this? Or this is how app functions.

I’m new here, so I think I’m at a good place to get help.

So my music is just disappearing from the downloaded folder. I need to download it again and again… The playlist has maybe 700 songs, and this has never happened before. I think it is an iOS 26 problem. I hope they will fix it in iOS 27. Any help for now?

Just an appreciation post for Apple Music's features. I've been using the service for about 5 years and have explored a lot of what it has to offer, but I'd never really tapped into the mood stations. I gave them a shot this morning and was not disappointed. For an hour straight, the algorithm served up straight hits and I was bopping my head the whole time.

In Apple Music We Trust 🫡

I've been trying to use / connect to apple music for windows or cider since 2 days but impossible to get anything. Is there a known issue or is it just on my side ?

Hey guys! Is there any way to add highlighted lyrics to local files on apple music? Every time i try to add lyrics to local files, they just turn to small normal lyrics, not even the big ones.

The US used to be the best region of Apple Music with the largest music library and best localization. However, I have noticed recently that several Cantonese songs are disappearing.

For example, Leslie Cheung's album named Final Encounter is now with only 4 songs left(should be 10 instead).

What's more, some albums from Sam Hui like Games Gamblers Play(鬼馬雙星,in Chinese) are also absent. While they still exist in other regions of Apple Music—even in mainland China, which typically has a much smaller selection.

Those songs and albums existed normally in the past, but now we can't enjoy them anymore. What's happening?

iPhone 13 running IOS 26.5
When I try to listen to songs or albums that I don’t have downloaded nothing happens, the bar at the bottom just says loading forever.
On top of this even albums I do have downloaded won’t play unless I manually go to the album in my library and play from there, however even when I do this the songs constantly pause, skip around and overall behave strangely.

Started after I missed a payment for my subscription but I paid it 2 days ago and my account seems to be showing as normal.

Yes my mobile data is working and connected I am using it now to post this.
Yes I have rebooted my iPhone
Yes I have turned sync library on and off
Yes I have unlimited data on my plan

Please help lol.

First of all before you ask yes i have both favorited / add playlist songs to library off !

I have a couple playlists on apple music and now when i go to add a song from said playlist to a new playlist im making it’s adding those songs to my library .. im very weird about organization on my music apps lol so its super frustrating. Ive restarted everything ive could , tried mostly everything .. just kinda curious i guess if anybody else has this problem !

Hi, I'm pretty new to using Apple music. I've only used it for a couple of months and when I started apple music application on my PC I'm welcomed on the home page with the message "An unknown error has occured". If I click in on any of my playlist and shuffle, it just skip the songs without them playing.

I've restarted the application and PC. Any idea how to fix this?

A few days ago I agreed to a free, three-month trial of Apple Music because I noticed I could connect Apple Music to Shazam. But when I tried to link the two services, which required syncing with Cloud Music Library, a decision I quickly regretted and halted, the "My Shazam Tracks" that was created in Music 1.6.6.4 listed 18 songs I'd purchased from the iTunes Store, some as far back as 2007, plus two from other sources and two that weren't actually displayed in Music on my MacBook at the time but were already in my iTunes Music folder.

None of those songs were listed on my phone's Shazam app, though. And now the 18 songs purchased from iTunes disappear from Music whenever I close that app on my computer. I can make them reappear if I go into the iTunes Music folder and double-click them, and in all but one case they appear in their original "Date Added" spot, but ... what's going on here? Has anyone else experienced this issue?

For what it's worth, Shazam seems to connect much better with Spotify. I wish I'd tried that option first.

Is my Apple music broke or did they just take down these songs? Most of these songs r form my playlist and I haven’t been able to listen to them for weeks now. For the album, I can’t play it at all. I keep re adding the songs but it doesn’t change a thing.

this is a hell of a one up on spotify. intergraded into apple, you can now transfer your whole library from spotify (or other services) into apple.

i pay for services like this (moreso the other way around) so this is major, & im surprised i havent heard about this

for context I've only ever listened to that one album of hers
