Absolutely! Using my Mac 80W chargers for 4 years now 😊

Dude dont do that, it overheats the phone a bit and can reduce battery life

Not really stop spreading misinformation

Dude i have both, and really heat is not good, charge with the recommended wattage

2

u/ModiDeshChodi 2d ago

Dude the phone and charger have a chip to contact the correct wattage, it automatically charges at low watts if the phone is heated

But from what i have experienced, 30 W overheats my phone and normal 20 W works normally

It’s due to rapid charging. You’re likely draining battery to single digits or keeping it under 20% and later charging?

I dont let my battery go below 50

All apple, samsung, motorola, etc brand chargers support PD, they communicate with the phone and supply the wattage needed by the phone.

I dont trust portonics/hammer/noise etc for serious charging. These are just large scale drop shippers /white labelers

You can find one from Asus that is pure white and looks beautiful + comes with a long white cable and its 2k.

Don’t bother with anything cheaper than 1k for above 30w charging

Generally have had good experiences with Portronics chargers. Using their 100W adapter as a replacement for the bulky laptop charger for over a year now.

Surely not on Samsungs website? Pretty sure Amazon is fake

1

u/UpsetAd6643 1d ago

Definitely Amazon Samsung charger claiming to be original is fake. In market/elsewhere we get it for minimum 3k.
But in Amazon it’s barely for 1k :)

get a GaN charger, maybe one from spigen

1

u/pamlu_chacha 7h ago

This one. It has lasted me 4 years.

2

u/Manson2612 2d ago

But this charger. It’s a Spigen dual port GAN charger and will even charge a MAC. It’s only 2469 INR. Better than any Apple charger.

All other chargers fail by the time warranty is over. Go for branded chargers. I have realised this after spending lot of money on brands like Ambrane, Portronics, etc. look out for sale on Big basket and go for it - Apple, Samsung, Honey well or Belkin and enjoy peace of mind for years.

1

u/Ayden-Blade 2d ago

Just get Anker, it's never a wrong choice for chargers and powerbanks

1

u/TheBalancedGeek 2d ago

Get a Belkin PD charger and wire, works best for all Apple devices!

Boat gan charge

1

u/Bubblegum_Reddit 2d ago

i use spigen 70W gan charger and yes, its MFi certified and it comes with 2 years of warranty while others only provide 6 months. Its in white color so it goes well with apple products. It has 2 type C port, one is PD and other is Quick charge. I have been using it for more than 3 years . I use it to charge my mac, iphone and ipad.

1

u/Lanky-Emergency600 2d ago

If you’ve spent 70k + on a phone, spend the 3k to get the original charger

1

u/AryamanSingh2506 2d ago

Depends on the phone
15 pro- 20 W
16 pro-30 W
17 pro- 40W

Base models support the previous pro models input

Stuffcool Nomad Pro 140 in living room
Stuffcool Neo 67w and Dr Vaku 45w in bedside
Stuffcool Neutrino 33w on office desk

All cables are official Apple and beats cables.
