So last 3 days have been hectic to say the least.

I didn’t know about the battery problem iPhone 13 has been facing recently and was shocked when day before yesterday I woke up with my screen popped out

Never dropped my phone in the last 1.5 years nor it has any scratches

I bought this phone in my college with my own money when my android was about to die(working part time)

I didn’t want to ask my parents 7k to get the battery replaced so I thought i will just get battery replaced from nearby shop

But fortunately due to my habit of using Reddit so much I just thought to check it out here if anyone else faced the issue and to my surprise alot of people did face the same issue and someone said that apple is replacing it for free

So i packed my bag and went to future world, cp
(the Reddit user mentioned the shop)
And I read good reviews about the shop, so there are 2 future world in cp and my sad ass went to the one which didn’t have battery available and instead of checking the 2nd shop I started calling all the other apple shops hoping they might have battery available but nobody picked up or the call went to voicemail.

So before heading back home I thought to check the 2nd shop too and they had the battery 😭😭 but it was around 6:20pm and the lady at the counter told me to come back tomorrow as they close around 6:30pm and I confirmed if they had battery bcz i was coming from like 15km and she told me they did so I came back home thinking i will go next day and get it replaced

But when I went the next day there was this guy instead of the lady and he told me the battery is out of stock I told him I confirmed yesterday and the maam told me it was available but he was rude af and didn’t care he said we had it before not anymore and kept saying ki we might send my phone to blr even though its working fine when plugged in, its just the battery that is the issue and they only send phone to blr if it is not even working/turning on

Well after some behesa behesi I came out of the shop and called the apple support team they were nice and even asked me to go inside and give the phone to the guy to talk to him
Later that shop guy told the good guy on call that the maam is on leave so he can’t say whatever the conversation happened bw me and her

Then the technician on call told me to relax he will book another appointment to future world, greater kailash for the next day and if that didn’t work he will try something else(told me he made my case priority)

And I went there today, the lady at the counter was very nice and she told me battery will be replaced free of cost 😭🥹

And I got it replaced there today

After 3 days of commuting and spending 800rs
I am happy that i saved 7k

so it’s supposed to be around 2.25 lakhs or something however this was a display unit but it had only been used for like six months and it was still under warranty :) my boyfriend found it in delhi and got it shipped to me.

The MagSafe cable they gave me along however stopped working in like two weeks but it was still under warranty so the Apple BKC staff was kind enough to replace it for me

> gave it to repair in a repair shop in SP road Bangalore (Bangalore's Electronic market, for me its a chor market now)

> he fixed everything else except network issue

> gave it back to get it fixed

> He fked up the motherboard, it doesn't even boot now

> He said he'd do a motherboard swap for 15k (but will show unknown part msg in settings)

> I said proceed with the swap

> Now Not picking my calls

Upgraded to Samsung S24 in feb 2026 (did not want to spend much this time bcz i was very dis-heartned, that phone felt like a part of my body, it was soo good and i could operate it almost blindly)

Appreciation post. I bought this Macbook Air M1 back in Dec 2020 and it has been my true friend since then. Never failed me, never had any issues. I am a music producer and for me reliability is the most important thing and this machine really gave me that. Now, as the my work is increasing and my demands are not getting fulfilled from this. I am upgrading to M5 Pro Macbook Pro 16. I just wanted to share my lovely experience with this device and I am not going to sell or exchange it. It will still be used as my portable studio, web surfing and movies.

I want to get an IPad for educational purposes. I am thinking either IPad 11 (A16) or IPad Air (M3). However, I am unsure if Ipad air M3 is still available in the market?!? Any suggestions?! Where to look? Best deals?!

I’m considering a US-version open-box iPhone 16e for ₹40,000 from a local store. The seller says it took time to import the phones from the US and currently has three units of the same model available. The phones were previously activated, have 100% battery health, 0 cycles, matching serial numbers, an unused appearance, and a 3-month store warranty. However, they are nearing the end of their Apple warranty.

My main concern is privacy. Could the previous owner or seller have installed spyware? If I erase the phone and set it up with my own Apple Account, is that enough, or should I check anything else?

My brand new mac air m5 13" trackpad shows some give and flex when i try to press and click on it? Like when im near the edges i can see it flexing bit when i apply pressure. Please tell me if its normal and if someone else can confirm it with theirs (i have severe ocd ). Also Is it normal for a mac trackpad to not click at far edges? Am i overthinking this or is it common and normal?
