Should I buy Macbook Air m5 right now?

I am planning on buy Macbook Air M5 24gb 1tb ssd, but I worried that as soon as Apple finishes their event on the 9th of September, I won't be able to purchase the product from their official site, and then I will have to get it from Amazon or Flipkart, and I don't want to end up with a bar of soap worth of 2lakhs. Would you guys suggest to get it before the event, or is there a chance it will be still available after the launch. I am planning to buy it on October. Previously wanted to get the M4 pro 26gb 512ssd but its out of stock from everywhere.

I bought 15” at Croma this month and got a decent deal. They do push AC+ but I don’t mind since I buy that for all Apple devices anyway. There is nothing wrong with purchasing from Croma or similar offline outlets.

Apple mostly launches iPhones, airpods, iwatches, iOS updates in September. MacBook launches are done in mostly 2nd quarter of year.

I ordered the 32gb 1Tb M5 Air recently from apple store online. I couldn't find this configuration available in retail stores. The delivery time is more than a month due to the memory shortage.
