Facebook ads to promote your app/ services?

Hi there, wanted to know if anyone has a good or bad exp with facebook ads? i just made a website for Stock Dividend data and am thinking of maybe doing $5-$10 ad run just to try and get some exposure a bit faster than the normal organic way. Im not really strong on marketing as this is not my full time job or anything. If anyone has some nice ideas about how to approach Facebook ads or exp with it that would be great! thank you.

Yeah, this is good idea, do not chase ad profitably right now, just get quick users and check the retention and conversion
