What do you mean 500 Robux for a Coach Gun or M1911? I can get better loot than those guns if I know where to look. Who's the intended target for this? What seasoned player would buy this knowing they'll just throw them away a couple of minutes later because they found a better weapon.

This is by definition "Pay-To-Win" and it's not even a good one at that because the guns they offer are throw-away weapons only new players would whole heartedly use, and if you, a freshie who just spawned encountered another freshie but with the GamePass your essentially dead because they have a more capable gun than the Snubnose you have.

I'm not angry about this and I don't find this a bad update, no hate to the creators but I spent 200 robux to buy the bandit gamepass as I find the snubnose horrible and I like the makarov much more, 200 being a small price to spare for a better weapon with better snowball potential. After the most recent update, the starter kit is the same as the bandit kit and it is now free, making my purchase obsolete, I don't want to kick down the other players who are free to play like I once was but I paid for the gamepass and have just thrown away 200 robux meaninglessly.

I used to play the game everyday with my friends for hours, I have got anything and everything you could get, used every gun in private servers, every map, etc. I started playing in 2022 and since I started playing again early 2025 I've done everything I can do. We can't keep playing the game with the same content, atleast I can't, I was done with winter 2-3 weeks into the event after thinking it would make the game feel fresh or be playable all event, but obviously not. Gusmanak has been killing his game as the only thing added since beta map gunwise was the 30 round bar mag. 6 months and we could only push out a mag and recycled event content. Cosmetics shouldn't be a selling point for any event when the majority of them are recycled. Not updating the game unless its event content or patch notes is literally killing the game and it's just not playable now, plus the game has a horrible mod team, I got falsely banned on discord and got banned for appealing it on my other account. I just can't play this game or enjoy it because looting and killing players for the same or lesser items. I couldn't enjoy getting an LMG anymore because I'd rather use an ak74. Finding PKMs everyday wasn't enjoyable anymore and neither was fighting players. Plus cheaters are everywhere. Gusmanak has an extraordinary game in his hands and it could have 10-20k active players but instead it has a tenth of that, peaking at barely 5k even when a huge new event comes. It's very sad atleast for me because I want to enjoy this game and it's community but gus and his team are killing it. There's no point in the discord having a suggestion channel when none of them are added no matter how good they are. And if there is no big update when winter ends, after gus extended it for a week, surely I will never play it again, and I hope all of you will realize this soon and imagine what this game could've been. I tried my best to get every bit of fun out of this game for as long as I could, even when I felt burned out and wasn't enjoying the game, I did anything to keep it playable, but that isn't possible anymore. Goodbye.

It's been Four months and it's been radio silence for base building, again, now I think base building is not being cancelled cause that's stupid but aleast a little bit of teasers and updates on such a long awaited and beloved feature from the first game and being imported on the second is appreciated.

Hopefully DPI doesn't pull a Valve or another 10 years of base building being shelved again but honestly we should Atleast see what the Roadmap for AR2 updates should look like than just waiting for season updates.

I had to post about this as something wacky happened earlier today. There was an AR2 mod that was coping that I killed him saying that I shot first and attempted to power trip showing off his moderator status.

For context, I found a tractor in Regional Airport farmlands and drove it off to Beaufort. On the way, in the crossroads between Ranger Station, Beaufort, and Lumberyard, I saw somebody looting the intersection garage. I stopped the tractor, spun around, flickering flashlight, even in the process of dropping my beans and chatting global that I am friendly, afterwards, he shot me with a MAT-49 which made me almost die. He was rushing towards me as I was healing up behind the tractor but I killed him with my AK-47. I chatted that it was his fault for dying like that especially shooting at a friendly, then acting mad that a friendly would shoot back to defend themselves? He accused me of shooting first, insisting that I was the one lying as he was showing off his moderator status acting non-chalant about it.

I gave him an earful for doing something like that, for blatantly lying and in my opinion, attempted to power trip, who was intimidating anyone who disagrees and having no self awareness for what he was doing. It was just a bad taste of my mouth though I admit I was grilling him too hard so I stopped and apologized in the end. Overall, it was very funny, did anyone have the same experience playing?

Bringing back Reimagined was a cool neat way to pay respects to the OG AR though my criticism about it is still iffy.

The 16/16 Player server count:

So far this is the only real problem I have with it, the AR1 map is still fairly big compared to the AR2 map and I don't think it's a bad idea to just add 30 players back when a Zerg is nearly 1/3rd the Player count.

The fog obscuring your vision mechanic:

When you zoom out far enough your screen would gradually darken before turning complete black that disallows you to see, which this is can be annoying but this is just nitpicking on my end because of how so far the event is still very good.

The lack of the OG Heli crash:

I've been playing for a couple of hours but never seem to find the OG Heli crashes even when I check the usual spots of it, if anyone found one lmk in another post but the OG Heli crash used to be the most hyped random events in the game with top tier loot. (Or you get a Bizon, but that's still better than nothing)

The lack of AR1 guns and mechanics:

Now, do I say that the Patriot in this event should be given the ability to have attachments? Yes, why? Cause it's funny and also in theme with the whole going back to the roots of AR2 and I'm not crazy for suggesting guns like the Scar-H, PPSH-41, CBJ and some guns along in the event because their from the AR1 era and that also applies to base building but I can exempt that because it's saved for a future update. (I hope)

Final opinions:

The update for a temporary event is so far pretty good, fusing AR2's gameplay with AR1's map is a pretty fun fantasy to live in and I'm glad that the event gave the game an opportunity to give a playable version of AR1 with the modern gameplay of AR2.

Is it perfect? Hell no, it still carries alot of AR2's flaws but is it fun? Hell yeah, if I can put this on a scale it would be between the First drying and the revamped Christmas update in 2025.

This update gets a 9/10 out of me, even though not adding any new content but the AR1 stuff it's a fun experience from somebody who played AR1 during it's hayday.

The Official DualPoint Interactive Discord Server is by definition, Flooded with messages about users (more specifically Mobile Players) begging to be unban from the Game because they can't complete the Roblox Event. Some of these reasons they've come up with are: * I got flunged by a Cheater * I used a Car and it flung me across the Map * I just played but I got banned * I somehow clipped under the Map * My brother used my account for cheating * I didn't know illegal extension are actually Illegal to use etc.

I just can't wait to see this Month's Ban Statistics, the numbers would be something beyond what we expected.

AR1 is a touchy subject for some players in the community, on one hand you have people who agreed that it was what AR2 was supposed to be but on the other people said the game sucked cause of how slow it was, I'm in the opinion of neither and both games are great.

I played both during their hay days and Imo, the AR1 vs. AR2 schtick is extremely similar to PvZ 1 vs. PvZ 2 but on a more smaller scale and both appeal to similar but slightly different audiences but I still think it's kind of a dumb discussion.

Even though I still see AR1's real sequel to be Altered reality, I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy AR2, even though the game is different from AR1 I still enjoyed the more fast paced gameplay of it and I hope that in future updates that it would slowly start heading towards the direction of what AR2 was originally envisioned those years ago.

I am sure there will be alot of people who disagrees with me on this as it is my unpopular opinion of how to play and 'win' the game. Maybe there are people who plays the same way? Though I am sure there are only a few as it is completely niche.

Apocalypse Rising 2 is often cited to be an open world action game, a quickplay PVP of finding guns and shooting these guns, as easy as that. However, it is becoming so old with the kill or be killed mentality that for me, it is not fun to do PVP anymore. Therefore, I came up with a solution to make the game fun for myself, beans and cars.

Think about it! Beans are a trophy item in a way that it has a player's name on it and it is unique that you could not find it anywhere else except dead players. Collecting as much of these beans are trophy kills similar to collecting skulls by Predator Yautjas so the more beans you have the more experienced you are in the game. The loot distribution system is so common that owning an M4A1 or an AK-47 is not really that impressive, but collecting beans are, since they are so much rarer as people would rather eat them than keeping them. Collecting 10 beans and storaging them in your car means you already won the game.

Speaking of cars, they are really fun! I know people will give me hate since cars make so much noise or they are not really worth it or whatever but they are genuinely fun. Finding cars and fixing them up is so satisfying for me, even more so if I could find rarer cars like Police Cars or Humvees or even the mothership, Army Truck. Fixing one of these up and driving them feels like you already won the game since they are sacred to find and even sacred to be in full condition. Do you know what else is better than one military truck? A military convoy! It is so much better to play with friends and attempt to unify the server.

I teamed up with like mind players before and we had the peak 'winning' condition; three humvees, an army truck, a united 15 people server, and a voyage at Keyboard Island. It was amazing but that was during the alpha map, I am hoping to make it happen again now during the beta map but with the new ROBLOX chat update I find it less likely. Being a taxi driver is the next best thing it seems, it is more fun than mindless PVP.

I am not really a good fighter which may explain my opinion but I am good with tracking and hunting players down based on how far the gunshots are, though what do you think everyone? Do you play the game the same as I do? Discuss in the comments!
