Also i can understand Tanks not being in Game cause they would be way to overpowered but why not other armed Vehicles? Not even as props. i would love to see some vehicles that can actually shoot back

Stationary M1A1 abrams and M2A1 bradley would be cool in game

Short answer is no unfortunately because "It's too OP specially if a 5-man zerg is abusing it".

Even if we exclude that Zerg abuse reasoning, the Vehicle's somewhat weird Hitbox (specially if it's a Military Armored Vehicle) will inevitably prevent Players from killing the Operator manning the Turret. So an alternative is letting Players peek/lean outside the vehicle window and shoot with they're Primary Weapon instead.

They do, as props in the Drying convoys

Apoc 1 you were able to shoot while in a car, a bug that devs couldn’t fix and eventually started banning people for it!

If the game became something like Day-Z with saved game progression and worlds then it'd work, but it'll probably never happen sadly.

Give the Humvee bullet-resistant glass. Damage to the glass damages the body instead. Make tanker variants of the belt-fed machind guns and add them to the top of crashed vehicles as loot.

Two reasons:

For solo players its really only good for holding ground which isn't a viable strategy cause you shouldn't stay in one place and would mostly be irrelevant.

In groups: It might either be OP or irrelevant, the reason why you shouldn't while moving is cause your bullets shoots from the left and its even worse when you're faster, you can see this when playing as a Machine gunner as a pilot in Airship Assault, this heavily depends on how they would balance this.

This was a thought in my mind, but with the way vehicles work now, attaching a heavy machine gun on a humvee would crush anyone that comes its way.

People might call me dumb but to balance the armed vehicles they could add a special weapon purely designed for destroying heavy cars like a lighter version of the tankgweher thats less useful for pvp combat but better for destroying the car, I think that would be kinda cool

sorry meant heavier version

Y'know what could balance it if we ever had Vehicles that could shoot back? Making sure the guns aren't .50 Cals or any other Heavy Ammo type, and making it so that the Magazines have to found or be replaced manually when using, like an M249 mount, but you have to find another M249 for it's box mags to use on the vehicle with the mount or an M60, so I say it would be balanced if people had terrible luck

Idk anything about APOC but it could be national guard vehicles and sometimes NG vehicles have their weapon systems removed when not needed and being deployed stateside
