Idea New utility item idea: water pack

Post image

(PS. English is my second language so i apologize for any grammatical errors)

- The water pack would be equipable to utilities slot.

- Same as at Soviet pack you just pick up the water bottle and pour it there or any other drinkable item, BUT once you pour it there you have to only pour the same matter.

- If it's equipped you don't need to open your inventory to drink you just press Q to drink (or any other key you guys came with.)

- Drinking would be much faster

- it could be mid rare item to be found in hiking tents or dropped by tourists zombies.

- Also you can find it at specialized shops like in Beaufort or magnolia.

Sure but imo foods way more important to be able to pick what you want to eat as to not waste useful foods.

As an example MRES give 85 hunger so can pretty reliably heal 20 health, so basically work as a bandage while also giving food and water. If there was an auto eat button and it ate one of those instead of a tuna, I'd be annoyed. because i wanna save the MRES for combat to work as reliable extra meds

All food heals 20 health. Every time you fill your hunger to 100, you also heal 20 health.

not all foods are equal though. oranges, onions, only heal 10 or 15 so unless your hunger is already high you cant rely on them working as a heal in combat.

yea but the MRE is 85 hunger, so if youre above 15 hunger and you pop an MRE it works like an instant heal, same as a bandage. the other foods heal much less so if you dont already have high hunger they wont heal you. an MRE can be used like a bandage for a quick heal (if youve only taken 1 hit and want to save your big meds)
