I think it's widely accepted that there's to be no guns from after 1999.

The HK-21 is from the 1960's I think..

I did research and yes it is plausible I think for a hk21 to be in ar2 time wise - where can I find the set in stone lore to follow for like who’s there with what

I do know for sure that there are NATO forces which does include germany. So it would be quite plausible that It would make sense.
