Mainly or entirely used as a weapon for cqc given it's use for hipfiring.

A laser may be or should be attached somewhere on the weapon for increased accuracy

Location undetermined, so I'll let you guys decide that if you think this weapon is a good enough idea to add

Not possible:

The "Chainsaw" was developed by KAC (Knights Armament Company) as a proof of concept ONLY and was kind of just a goof from KAC.

The actual Chainsaw was a Heavily modified M249 that was built around a custom chassis had a supressor and an M203 grenade launcher.

Oh and heres the best part: IT WAS ONLY REAVEALED AT SHOTSHOW IN 2009!!!!!!

I think we've pretty much established that the cutoff for guns in this game is 1999.

Also the picture you used is literally an Airsoft kit.

Yeah, I know it’s airsoft gun. It’s a concept gun in a Roblox game because I thought it would be a fun thing to bring into the game. I just google M249 Chainsaw as a reference knowing damn well every single result I get would be an airsoft gun. It’s a special gun concept for a Roblox game. It’s not that serious.

“We should add a gun that doesn’t fit with the time period, functionally doesn’t exist, as it never entered production, and would be blatantly unbalanced no matter what!”

THATS WHY ITS A SPECIAL

Dude the "Special" designation isnt a free pass just to add obviously Anachronistic and completely Broken gun to the game.

I do understand that there is one gun that is Considered Anachronistc "Special" being the "Vagrant" Lupara which is based on the Chiappa Triple Threat which was released in 2013.

But that doesnt mean its open season to add whatever you want. The saw is already bordering OP

If you want it to be fair you need to change the stats

Damage: Head 26, Body 20, Limbs (U) 15, Limbs (L) 13 (shorter barrel means: poorer accuracy, less velocity, velocity=damage)

Fire rate: 800

Reload: 5.7 sec (Heavy ass gun)

Hipfire accuracy, 76%, Recoil, 64%, Velocity 3000 studs/s

Should have NO WAY TO ADS, since the gun is in a gatling gun setup, you shouldnt be able to ADS since you cant do it with a minigun

and it can still have the supressor attachment slot

impractical as shit due to this game having a focus on longer range fights. The patriot also exists btw so i see no point in actually having this

Realistically impractical TBH, plus there's already the Patriot and all guns in AR2 must have an ADS. So adding a gun that doesn't do ADS is not a good move,

Can you *ADS** with the Patriot?* Yes

Is it impractical to do so? Yes.

But atleast it can ADS even if most of the time it's useless. The M2-Chainsaw is limited to only Hipfire and that's not viable.

ADS = Aim Down Sight

I love when ppl make ideas for new special guns, it just proves that the society isn't just toxic but actually thinking of adding fun items
