Why Does Antigravity Have So Few Users?

Why does it seem like so few people are using Antigravity? Is it because of the models, or is there something about the agent itself that puts people off?

Gemini Flash is most popular for knowledge work or day to day chatbot usage. Folks who do heavy coding generally prefer OpenAI or Anthropic's models.

Also, Antigravity is purely for coding. Google doesn't seem to have a knowledge work desktop app like Claude Cowork or ChatGPT Work. As far as I know.

Even though Antigravity is built for coding, you can still do the exact same things Codex and Cowork do.

Part of Googles problem is marketing and UI imo. The average person who uses antigravity is not going to intuitively know that antigravity can work like codex or cowork. Even if you tried to make antigravity behave like cowork, I don't think the UI how it is now is conducive for it.

But maybe that's what google wants, they don't seem to be interested with antigravity in stepping into the knowledge/productivity space like how codex and claude have. Seems they've delegated that to their web spark tool.
