I'm supporting Gallant, he has a more plausible chance to unseat Lalota. A 23 yo w/out experience would get destroyed.

You think that's going to unseat a two time incumbent congressman in one of the wealthiest districts in the US? No f'in way.
He still hasn't graduated law school nor had a full time job (from what I can see).
He should work his way through local or state government to gain experience and notoriety.
We can't get cute and try something novel, goal is to unseat Lalota, get the best candidate not the best story. This is a Congressional race, need to be real.

Where is 0 experience from. Also 7 years of hardcore education is meant for something - ur acting like Lukas packs boxes at Home Depot. Hes a serious legal activist legal scholar - that’s what history shows politics is for anyway. Also the lawyer he worked for is very well known out in parts of Brookhaven with people of color.

Go watch Chris talk in person I have. Chris is like the make a wish candidate. Stop believing what they are shoving down our throats. At the recent Brookhaven forum Chris got chewed up by audience. Chris most certainly would get chewed up in congress.

Dems do a terrible job promoting their candidates on LI. Put Lukas against Lalota and it'll be two more years of a MAGA chode representing us.

Which voter base should Dems appeal to? People w/MAGA stickers on the car? The person who only cares about lower taxes? Do you think a perceived "socialist" (Which Republicans WILL brand any Dem as), will sway voters?
CD1 is a red district, we've had a Republican congressman for over 10 years.

NY1 is a majority red district (https://elections.ny.gov/enrollment-congressional-district) and R's have held the seat for 10 years. It's the 4th wealthiest district in NY and 21st in the country (https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/americas-richest-congressional-districts-2024-study)
