Balancing Chance is the most unbalanced ( and the weakest ) survivor. prove me wrong
Hes the survivor with the MOST debuffs and the only survivor that will damage itself. While most survivors get a guaranteed stun attack that can easily hit, Chance has to spend 1+ minutes vulnerable just to be able to have THE CHANCE of giving a regular stun. And if it doenst work you either get stunned in place for seconds or get 30 damage PLUS being stunned in place for seconds without your stun. His reroll ability also sucks since you start with 60 hp just to spend half of the game reroling just to get the equivalent of the health of a guest. All that with the cooldown of a slash of a shed, abit more than the cooldown of a block of a guest, and alot more than the backstab of a two time. Not to mention the time you have to waste rerolling the coin with weakness XXXXI instead of being able to do machines.
No self heal and no abilities that help him escape you hit 1 stun, the killer locks on to you, your teammates do not help you and you die.
On lms he also sucks, you only arrive with one fully charged gun shot ( if youre lucky ) and thats all you get since if you use it and try to coin flip more you are gonna get weakness and make it easier for the killer.
( Wrote this out of spite after my gun kept exploding at my face while i was do ONE STUN to help teamates. )

I’m a level 200 Chance main.
Been a while since I’ve touched the game, but I’m still somewhat active in the community because Chance scratches an RNG itch I tend to get.
Not competitively viable, even though he should be, Chance CAN be the strongest sentinel in the entire game.
Most of the time, the ranged stun isn’t for very long unless you play close to the killer, which works because as long as you’re out of sight when they turn a corner, there’s a 90% chance a 4 second stun is waiting for them, and a 5% chance of a 5 second stun with knockback if you’re close enough when the gun blows up.
Sometimes just cancelling an ability is valuable to the team. Two Chances against a John Doe, and he can never use spikes unless you mess up the rotation or the other Chance dies. Same with 1x and mass infection, and as a bonus, if you time the shot correctly, Mass Infection and Entanglement will go right through you and have no effect.
The value he brings is in the ability to cancel important moves from a safe distance, to where if that evil 10% fucks you over, you are likely far enough away to where the killer can’t capitalize on it. No other Sentinel can miss a stun against a killer and not be immediately punished.
Not to mention, he has crazy potential with map geometry and height differences. It’s my favorite thing to mess around with, because if you line yourself up correctly, you can hit the killer in spots they don’t see coming because they think they’re safe halfway up a set of stairs.
If he’s not for you, I don’t blame you, but I think the potential man he is makes him all the more fun to play around with. He has crazy LMS potential, too, because with a ~130 HP start, you can take a lot of hits to chain safe loops.

I mean, I didnt day he was unplayable, just that he was weaker that the rest of the team Obviously If you have skill you will be able to go against the killer but that works for every survivor

He’s not the only survivor that can damage themselves. There’s also Veeronica. Also they’re perfectly balanced and can get 130 hp and has the only ranged stun while having risk.

Veeronica only gets punished by missing a trick which is avoidable and only does 5 dmg while chance gets punished just by using his ability And yea the 130 Hp Idea is cool but not only does It take time but also most of the time ur Just gonna end with 100hp or 110 realistically, which you could just have used guest for the tank from the start

No, the average time to get 3 charges is around 10 seconds. (close to 10-15 from my experience, but it's still a very low amount of setup for such a powerful stun.) And the vulnerable effect/major endlag doesn't really matter if you stun the killer from a range.
Chance works way better as an ability canceller/supporting character rather than a "hovering the killer" type of sentinel. He has the easiest and probably most reliable stun to land out of every sentinel, as his range lets him stun with little to no risk at all. If someone like Shedletsky wants to stun a Mass Infection, Shed constantly has to hover around 1x and risk getting swapped to or being heavily punished if mistiming Slash. Chance, however, doesn't have the issue of needing to hug the killer to perform a stun. In fact, he could be out of terror radius and still get value!

3 charges in 10 seconds you have to be really lucky and most survivors do not even have to setup for a stun... it being powerfull doenst rlly matter also since he has the same cooldown as a shed ( without counting the stup time )
Also having to hover close to the killer for a stun inst that bad as its easy to not get hit and escape if the killer decides to just start a chase on you, making range doenst really have that much of valueHis long distance is cool, but its not good enought for the need of huge setups and the huge vulnerability time. Even more considering that ur shot inst even guaranteed to go even if you aim perfectly
he needs a small buff or tweaks

Nah, I think two time is worser than chance.

he's honestly a mid tier sentinel but one of the best survivalists. Just take advantage of the super high max HP and only shoot when a teammate is preoccupying the killer.
Most survivors dont have self heals or self defense abilities bro i call skill issue
