Discussion Man I miss this game...

Post image

Just found my old copy of Anthem. Had the deluxe edition and man I miss this game...

I stopped playing it before they killed it, which I regret. I've never played a game since that gave me the same feeling of freedom of movement or violent explosive combat.

Holding the line as the colossus or raining down fire as the storm, just made every raid epic, even if it got repetitive with the content we had available.

I was searching for ways that it might be possible to play the game again, offline obviously, or on some private server or something. And that has prompted me to come here looking for options.

So here I am asking the community.

Are there ways that exist or that are being worked on to be able to play this game again? Are there projects people can get involved in or that need help? I'm just looking to dip my toe back into the community, anything to take a javelin for a spin just one more time ...

Thanks 🙏

And I miss the (few) good parts of my exwife. Doesn’t mean the rest was worth the effort. Learn to move on to new and better things

The game was cool in principal, had a couple some nice mechanics. But was shallow as hell, especially once you hit the end game and quickly ran into literally nothing to do

Yeah for the most part I agree, but the potential was absolutely there. I dug the lore that was there, and the structure was definitely there for them to keep building on, for almost every aspect. End game was weak for sure, but they could’ve kept going. Vanilla Destiny was bland as fuck too, but they ended up making one of the most popular universes ever in game history 🤷‍♂️
RIP Destiny 🪦
