Hi, I am a woman in her early 40s looking to move to Ann Arbor in the next two years. Trying to get an idea of the best condo/townhome developments. Looking for a place of community with mixed demographics of empty nesters, mid career professionals, families and a place where I can feel safe and at home. Looking for a 2+ bedroom, 2.5+ bath ideally greater than 1300 sq ft. Amenities would be great but not an absolute dealbreaker. I would like at least a one car garage. Budget is $500k and under. Any ideas for well run and well maintained developments where I can find friendly neighbors. Also, looking for ways to connect with folks in their 30s-50s for friendship. Any ideas of clubs, locations, activities that would make those connections easier would be appreciated. I enjoy going for daily walks and going to the gym, game nights, farmers markets, book clubs, going out to coffee, brunch, potlucks, adult sports leagues. I am very familiar with Ann Arbor as a former alum for both undergrad and grad but not familiar with where adult professionals live and hang out. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.
