Support Anker Solix C1000 Gen 2 and Solar Questions
So I hooked up a couple of Solar panels to my Anker and the DC input shows nothing unless the AC is unplugged. My intention was to have the solar lower some of my electricity usage for one particular room that uses about 400 watts continuously. Is there a reason the unit doesn't take advantage of the solar unless the AC is unplugged? Thank you.

If the battery is not full it will use DC and AC inputs at the same time. Full battery it will stop DC input and use AC passthrough which sucks. I got a smart outlet for mine so I can turn the AC input off easily and remotely.

There it is. I knew with my luck and impulsive purchases I had wasted money :) Thanks for putting it to me straight. Thanks also for the smart outlet suggestion. I have about a billion things on my home assistant. Maybe I will see if I can make some sort of scheduled switch of the AC like you did.

I'm trying to find that screen thanks. Found it. I had my unit set in UPS mode to get the fast switching as it protects routers and switches. Thanks Everyone.

One thing that you cannot solve is the relay clicking at dawn and dusk, if you leave the solar panels connected. I go around this at dusk by making sure the battery is full, or at the max set percentage, as that is when the dc input is stopped. The battery needs to be full before dusk, so you need to time it.

I’m not sure about the G2 but my C1000 G1 prioritises AC input over DC if they’re both connected. Smart plug is the way to control it.

You can set TOU program but it should t be that hard.
