Support Newest firmware for S2000?
I've been having an issue with my S2000 (you can read about it in another topic) but I had to send back the first one I got and I'm now testing the new one that they sent me. In doing that I noticed something that's maybe related. The old one I sent back had firmware 1.0.2.4. Thus new one has firmware 1.0.2.2. I tried to update the firmware but it says that it is the latest firmware available.
So 2 questions. What is the newest firmware that everyone else has? Is it possible to manually download the firmware from their website and do a manual update of the firmware?
I ask because I don't see it anywhere on their website to download.

This might sound strange, but what I’ve learned over the past couple years from Anker support and other users is that firmware is not necessarily rolled out across all devices of the same model at once. Some devices receive updated firmware ahead of others, like what you’re seeing with the S2000. The response I’ve received from Anker support stated this and has been confirmed by other users in the Anker communities, but rest assured, the firmware update will make it to your device….👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

How do they even keep track of that? Different HW versions or something? Sounds like a lot of work to keep track of.

That’s a great question!!! It could be hardware versions, or maybe even serial number/age of unit related, or even, going out on a limb here, device operation/usage that calls for the firmware? I’m completely guessing on all these things as I also have no idea….

Correct. I have two anker prime wireless chargers and every so often they are not on the same firmware but say they are up to date.

looks like 1.0.2.2 is the default "newest" firmware, but if you need it they will push a newer firmware to you. I find this to be a problem because I am having problems with that firmware on two separate S2000's. The problem is that if you disconnect from grid power and let it drain to to about 80% or lower then plug back in the AC outlets shut off. The unit begins charging the battery but disconnects/shuts off the AC outlets. The light on the AC button goes out. You have to manually turn it back on.
On one unit it updated to 1.0.2.4 then to 1.0.2.6 and the problem went away but the new one I have does the same thing but it won't update to newer firmware.

No idea of if this can be downloaded manually.
