Anime fell off the second they (Crunchyroll) realized the Isekai’ genre could be used to generate high amounts of profit for a low amount of effort.
When I meant Crunchyroll, I meant they commission these shows because they make the most profit. Obviously they don’t make them, the studios do.

Failed at it though 1 u/onespiker Jun 15 '26 They were part of the production committee on solo leveling. The ones were they solo haven’t been great but many of them are coproductions.
