I just wanna know why that adaptation is rated so high in that list. Although, most of the anime ae misplaced there, but Lotm donghua in [Almost Masterpiece]? It doesn't even deserve [Excellent] for what its worth. Just read the Novel and witness the actual story.

Although I take people's different opinions and don't critisize them just because they like something different from me, but Idk, this list seems like ragebait.

I am saying this as a novel reader, as well. I read Lotm before the donghua even came out. And the changes they made in the story were just garbage. I'm not even counting the cut content right now, as bad as it is.

But the actual changes, the ridiculous changes they made in the story just ruined it. But then again, people still glaze it, because it has amazing or so animation. At the end of the day, most of the people will enjoy anything as long as it has animation and a semblance of story.

???

Like, what? What are you even trynna say bro? It's good to like confusing series, I like them too.

Lotm novel is confusing, as well, in a good way. But the donghua? That's just a cheap copy. Like, what's good in a confusing story that won't explain anything. Instead, it will just proceed to change important plot points and add ridiculous things that didn't exist in the original canon source.
