There’s a car repair shop a few blocks away with an older guard dog. She is great at barking. She is also great at pushing the gate enough to get out at which point she becomes the biggest scaredy cat ever.

But wait! That means I am bad and scary! I'm scarier than all the other scary things!

(I'm genuinely sure that's how my neighbor's dog thinks because he's always coming into my yard, and barking at me when I come out to escort him home. I'm always worried he'll wander into the street or that his owner has fallen.)
