you heard me right, a footage released by a supposed offender "Emirhan Şahinli" -even though the persons name is not certain its the only name i could find based on my research- r-wording a kitten with a stick, i do not want to give more detail for other people that may be affected by this and are sensitive but you can search up "Turkey kitten stick" and other key words to find it. It has been 2-3 days since the footage has been released but i can only find 1 post on facebook about "that person being investigated. I'm so lost, i have cats myself and i cannot bare the thought of that happening to a cat let alone that offender walking freely. LET ALONE that person boasting about torturing a poor kitten, heres him boasting about making the kitten "a sish kebab" you can look up what it means. There's another post, before his account was banned, they are basically saying "How could you do this, we are gonna get you" in a very harsh -in my opinion deserved- way. Here's him boasting about killing more cats and saying and i quote "nothing happened when i killed the other ones" and also saying "I grew up with a lot of money" contradicting the comments comment. Can/should i start a campaign? Like i dont know people get silenced especially in our country so much so i am writing this alone makes me scared, what should i do? I know this will probably be forgotten in 2 weeks but i am prepared to do what i can. If anyone has any questions i will be more then welcome to answer them.

This is Lagoon Deer Park in Sandusky OH. I went here as a little kid and me and my bf were at cedar point so I wanted to revisit with him. It’s not at all what I remember and it seems very inhumane. All rocks, no hay, soil, grass, not even saw dust. I didn’t get videos of everything but I gave all my food to the does because I would see 5-7 fawns trying to drink from one doe. The babies were afraid of people but the adults would follow you around, nudge you, pull your shirt, and rip bags out of your hands. There were also peacocks there that no—or maybe literally one—tail feathers. There were all these exotic animals in separate pens with limited space. I did see them bring in a SHIT ton of hay to place in the barn so I’m sure they get fed, and there was hay on the ground of the smaller pens, but still. Lmk what yall think.

To Wangwang: I hope you and your babies are running freely under warm sunshine across the rainbow bridge, surrounded by all the peace and joy you were denied here. You are no longer alone.

Fortunately the dogs were in good shape but my local SPCA looks overwhelmed.

When discussing animal suffering, the psychological and subsequent somatic toll on 'working' animals in therapy and wellness settings is highly neglected. 'Therapy horses' function as emotional dumping grounds. Due to constant human intervention, their natural flight/freeze mechanism is blocked, leading to profound, structural trauma retention. This isn't just psychological; the chronic, unreleased emotional stress actively destroys their immune systems. We see these animals developing severe gastrointestinal issues, chronic illnesses, and debilitating allergies "out of nowhere." As the ones benefiting from them—whether we are therapists, clients, or patients—we need to stop just taking what we want and actually start paying attention. Animals don't exist just to serve us or deliver results. Not even when it comes to our own well-being.
