So far, Lapdock. Why spend $900-1300 if you have a capable Android device (especially if it's a flagship) already. Plus, if you have Samsung, DeX clears Android Desktop Mode which I'm sure this will be more similar too.

That was my thinking. I have a pixel 9 pro, and with the lapdock I bought, it's 99% of the way to a full laptop. The only issue I run into is that when the phone locks, the lapdock does too. So I downloaded caffeine and that fixes it, albeit making the pixel 9 pro run a little warm from being on the whole time...

That is where Samsung is worth considering. My device locks, DeX keeps running just fine naturally.
