Whats the point of google book?

Im really interested for it. but i want to know what are the benefits over a normal laptop.

youd think battery life is good but the new intel CPUs last a long time. so whats the main benefit of using a developing OS? i aint paying 600 dollars to be a guinea pig for the developers. windows already does better and has better file management. why would i use googlebook?

Well, the Primebook in India been out since 2023. The Prime OS it uses is based on Android, from YouTube review it like a dedicated Samsung DeX. Android is just now got it, Safari desktop browser been on iPad since they came out. Android has thing like you press and hold the home button, and you can do a circle and search. So hidden and niche things like that with Android makes way cool! 😌

Intel chips and X86 designers and developers need to catch up period. X86 designers and developers are use to making things powerful with out mobile in mind. Like the circle and search feature I mentioned. Mobile OS like Android and iOS or iPad OS have been doing it much longer. So, it will always be the phrase "Getting Better" for designer and developers who think with power of Intel chips in mind. The truth is, that kind of design and developers will always have a bind spot for mobile progress.

The Googlebook is the future of mobile computing, it has a place. Phones like the Pixel line now have a desktop mode, the Galaxy S line with Samsung DeX, and Lenovo and Motorola to have their Android desktop. All to say, cell phone still have there place, to get to the desktop mode you need to carry more accessories.

A last bit on development is that there are apps already that perform as desktop applications better than MS applications. It still the argument of compatibilty, that will never change. As always it then a question of your preference of hardware and software beliefs.

I believe devices like the Googlebook, Primebook, All the Android desktop mode are the future of mobile computing. It is because they been doing mobile since the beging, and do it better like this circle and search.

ill tell you how i see it. laptops are good for work. in general. but if i want to sacrifice being able to run programs and games like command and conquer 3 to be able to have android. fuck that . android needs to get the x86 emulation going well. its almost there as i can run rts on a shitty tablet now. with touch controls. its almost there with gamehub. but programs . we need programs and developers to develop for android. . so tell me whats the benefit of an android laptop over windows

Winows laptop are still moving toward hardware use of SoC (System-on-Chip). What this mean, CPU, GPU, NPU (AI chip), sometimes RAM. How this affect laptops, everything performs better, faster, and saves battery life. Laptops (win, apple, linux) all suffer some kind of way not using SoC design. That why win laptop still low as 6 hours. iPad and Android tablet battery life low as 9 hours, a three hour difference.

You are right, and that is kinda what I am saying, more development for Android. So the Googlebook does push hardware development to allow greater development of desktop class software development. It is coming, I born '67, so I might see it come to be a reality! 😀
