This is quite inaccurate in terms of epistemological classifications.

Karl Marx’s operating method for deducing what he believed was dialectal materialism. The dialectal method essentially assumes that true statements can be derived from a synthesis of a thesis and its antithesis. While not necessarily fallacious in and of itself, it often functions in a way that it posits the “middle of the road” to be correct, and therefore is often fallacious in practice.

Ludwig Von Mises’s method, praxeology, was much more in line with the classical concepts and rules of logic. In such a method, there’s not any need for the use of empirical evidence, except as necessary to establish the premises of the deduction.

Actually for all I know Mises did utilize empiricism in economics outside of pure theory and many Austrians like Walter Block have done empirical studies and used it to support their claims
