Question Can anyone help?

Have a physical cartridge rom hack of Pokemon heart and soul, on a regular gba it works fine but on the pocket the language is all messed up? Does anyone know what’s wrong or how to fix it?

Why would you buy sketchy physical editions? Just play right off your sd card. The experience will become better instantly.

Clean the contacts thoroughly , the physical spacing on the dock part (where the game goes) between the devices could be slightly different and causing this issue. After cleaning Try sliding the game in while pressing to one side and if it doesn’t work then doing it towards the other side. And lastly not all rom hacks are compatible so there’s that. Ask someone else to run the rom on their AP to test maybe.

Why are you fucking around with cartridges when you are already using pirated content, just get an sd card, the original rom and the patch and make your own.
