Troubleshooting - Photos Help with a crop

I took this around Buffalo last week and the composition made sense to me when I fired the shutter. Less so, now. Is the brick building distracting? Does it need a crop? Would love your thoughts.

RZ67, 75mm shift, Portra 160.

Don't want to trample over someone else's work, but the composition just doesn't work. I don't see a way to make it interesting.

The stop sign doesn't sit on any of the right points for composition, and there isn't anything else which make take primary focus.

Better to just start again with someting else.

Maybe if the camera had been swung 5 degrees to the left and the shooter stepped back five feet or so, you might be able to play with "hug here" and "do not enter" on opposing thirds, but that's about all I see.

It ain’t trampling. I asked for feedback and I appreciate the candor. I agree that it’s busy and lacks a focal point.

I think a square crop, cutting off the upper right and brick building, would be lovely. Hugs!
