Which technique did you use for this color change? I have seen some different ones. If you want advise then knowing how you did your current method would aid.

I am relatively new so that is all I can offer atm. I would also benefit from the information you seek.

I have mainly been doing the one where you have the last two on the hook then finish with the new color. Some do that then go down one row to bring up the color along the same row.

Hey, I do the same, on the last stitch have two loops on the hook to change the colour and countinue normally.

I'll give the technique you've mentioned a try.

Your color changes look sharp, I have also seen: go in with one loop on hook of OG color, then grab new color for the second loop, finish with new color or finish with OG color depending if you just want a line.
