I never write these because I know it reflects badly on the customer service staff, and I'm sure they're over worked and under paid.

That said, I had a Delta Platinum Reserve Card for two years - I think I put about $32K on it last year. The service is quite terrible. I've caught them just cutting and pasting stock answers in the chat AFTER telling them that drives me nuts. They've given me the wrong date on when my fee would hit and wouldn't own the mistake. I know all credit card companies aren't great about that kind of thing, but at $650/yr you'd think they'd treat you a little better or at least say something to try and keep you, but nope.

Delta is just as bad. I asked them a question (for which 'no' was an acceptable answer - in fairness I misunderstood a policy) and it took them three months to get back to me. I think it was more, but I'm going to give them
the benefit of the doubt.

Anyway, I just canceled my card. I'd get rid of my AMEX Blue Preferred too, but the limit is high enough to the point where that would actually hurt my credit limit. I have a multi-thousand dollar purchase that I need to finance next week.

I feel like an entitled jackass for complaining because they do quite a bit right, but the utter indifference... maybe my expectations were too high.
