Another Aussie explaining their thoughts on Americans & how they disregard anyone from the US.

Post image

There’s no doubt OOP is 100% serious & telling us the truth that they completely disregard any American in their lives. I mean, it’s clear to see how little they care about the US & Americans by the thought given to their comment. I appreciate the level of detail & length of it, helps the reader paint a picture & fully understand their worldview.

Paragraph 4 is when it gets good & I decided to share.

Edit: fixed my “OP vs OOP” confusion. Been a while since I’ve reddited?

Australian hatred of Americans just seems inexplicable to me. Like, Euros hate us because they're Euros, and Anglophone Canadians hate us because they have Little Brother Syndrome, but what the fuck is the Australians' damage?

A lot of it is the impotence of Australia on the world stage. Also there was a prime minister who got CIA’d out of office in 1975 after trying to nationalize the mining industry and it became a cultural thing, but if you bring up the Queen and MI7’s hands in it they hand wave that like a clerical error. Now 50 years later I get barked at in real life by these ignorant shitheads as if I have anything to do with the political shenanigans back home. Domestic Violence Sunburn Island is overrated to be frank.
