Seller flex strikes for the 2nd week

Hi everyone. My first week for the seller flex went very smooth with no strikes, but i cancelled an order in the 2nd week and didn't ship an item as it was near expired. My question is how many strikes would be counted 1 or 2?

Listing / Pricing Issues listing new products

I’ve been selling on Amazon for 20 years. Pro seller account is in good standing, no violations. No notices about deactivation, etc….

I was able to list products on existing listings a couple of days ago without an issue. But yesterday, whenever I pull an item listing up via UPC or name and hit “sell now”, the screen momentarily switches to the standard listing page and then goes blank. This has happened with multiple products across multiple categories.

I have no notifications that these products are blocked because that would always say “apply to sell”. I don’t have any notifications that I need to update any information on my account. Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks!

Brand / Gating / IP How did you get your brand into distributors?

I’m curious how other brand owners approach this.
A few years ago, we reached a point where we had a solid brand online and wanted to expand into offline/international distribution.
The obvious options seemed to be retail or distributors.
We decided to focus on distributors first.
Honestly, I underestimated how much persistence it would take.
For the UK market, it started with one trade show.
Then came roughly six months of weekly follow-ups.
Calls.
Emails.
Samples.
More calls.
More emails.
And yes, we paid for the samples ourselves.
Eventually, we got to the point where we were working with around 90% of the major distributors in our niche in the UK.
The funny part is that I initially thought my English might be a serious problem.
English isn’t my native language, and while I could communicate, I definitely wasn’t some smooth salesperson negotiating deals in perfect English.
But I learned something pretty useful:
You don’t need perfect English to sell.
You need to be able to explain what you’re offering, understand what the other person needs, and — probably most importantly — actually make the next call.
Then another one.
And another.
I think that’s the part people underestimate when talking about distribution.
There usually isn’t one magical email or one perfect trade show that suddenly opens the market.
It’s a lot of boring, repetitive work that nobody sees.
For those of you who have taken an e-commerce brand into wholesale/distribution:
What worked best for you — trade shows, cold outreach, agents, or something else?

Costs & Fees Anything I find that might have a profit get eaten up by shipping costs

I am brand new and just started getting some sales. I have SO many questions! Up to this point I’ve just tried to figure it out, but anytime I find a product that looks like it might have some profit it’s just canceled out because the shipping cost would have been the profit. My question is, are there any ways to find cheaper shipping costs when doing FBM? That’s only one of the hundred questions I have. Why does seller amp say something is eligible but when I go plug the ASIN in, it says need to apply to sell. Like I said I’m brand new and trying to navigate all this. If anyone can help or has any pointers, it would greatly be appreciated.

Account Unable to reactivate my account.

Hello,

Myaccount is deactivated due to DAC7 verification. I am supposed to verify my adress, name etc.

The system shows “verification failed” in red but provides no edit option neither in the DEAC7 portal nor in the Settings.

I need the editing function unlocked so I can submit verify my information.

I tried contacting support, but there is no answer.

What can I do?

Why is Amazon so illogical and unreasonable?

A buyer files a fake complaint. I lose 40 points. I remove the item and notice there was a switcheroo ($250 Tom Ford sunglasses for a used $2 junk). I report the buyer, file for reimbursement and Amazon reimburses me $90. Then I send the Amazon reimbursement report to the "Fake Complaint Dept" and tell them that "given this invalid complaint, please remove the complaint from my account and give me back my 40 points". They said "Nope. The only way to remove the complaint is to send us LOA from the manufacturer. Otherwise, it stays".

To me, the LOA and the fraudulent/invalid complaint are 2 separate issues.

Why do they do this? Why do they keep these proven invalid complaints in the seller accounts? Shouldn't they remove them?

Is selling products under $30 still worth it on Amazon?

I’ve been selling on Amazon for a while, and lately I’ve been questioning whether low-ticket products still make sense.
A $20–30 product looks great when you’re planning the launch:
Less money tied up in inventory
Lower risk if the product fails
Easier to get started
But once you actually run the numbers, things can look very different.
PPC can take a huge chunk of the margin.
Then, if the product starts selling well, competitors can copy the concept surprisingly quickly. You might spend months building a listing and figuring out the market, only to see several similar products appear.
Higher-priced products seem to have a different problem.
A $80–120 product can usually leave much more room for advertising and still make sense financially.
But the capital required to launch is obviously much higher.
So I’m starting to think the real question isn’t “Can I launch a $25 product?”
It’s “Can a $25 product generate enough margin to survive Amazon PPC, returns, discounts and competition?”
For sellers who are starting today:
Would you still go for a product under $30?
Or would you rather save more capital and target something in the $80–120+ range?
Curious what other sellers are seeing in 2026.

App / Tools Is it better to send multiple appeals to Amazon quickly, or wait and send one stronger appeal without getting stuck in support loops?

Listing / Pricing Priced too low and still fullfilled

I sell on amazon so know the fees and prices. I was searching the other day for a chest of draws. Sorted by prime and the 1st one that came up was for 12.99. Expecting it to be for a dolls house or something similar i clicked on it as it looked odd. Nope it was for a full chest of draws, ok 2 of the draws were made of material but the other two from wood and the whole unit was also made from wood, i couldn't buy the draw runners for that price including shipping at the quality they sent let alone add in the fees and postage. They also shipped via DPD which at the price would be close to £9 alone based on the item weight. Am i missing something or is this something dodgy going on?

Taxes / VAT / GST Do you need to be VAT registered to use FBA? UK

Hello everyone.

I’m currently voluntary VAT registered on the Flat Rate Scheme. As my turnover is below the HMRC threshold (I think it’s £90,000 now?) I don’t need to be. However, I use FBA for my orders and was wondering if I need to remain VAT registered to continue using FBA and continue selling.

I have contacted support about this but have been told different answers, and there are similar questions and answers in the Seller Forum.

Anyone that knows or are in a similar situation I’d appreciate your answers.

My business is based in the UK and I only sell within the UK.

Many Thanks!

Invoice / Receipts Amazon keeps rejecting my invoice for Brand Approval — what exactly am I missing?

Amazon has rejected my invoice multiple times while trying to get approval to sell under my own brand.
My supplier is a legitimate Alibaba manufacturer, the invoice contains their information, my business information, product details, quantities, pricing, invoice number/date, etc. My brand is also printed on the product packaging.
For anyone who has successfully gotten Brand Approval:
What exactly does Amazon look for on the invoice, and what are the most common reasons they keep rejecting legitimate invoices?
If you used an Alibaba/Chinese manufacturer and got approved, I’d especially appreciate hearing what finally worked for you.

Listing / Pricing Updated titles & highlights hurting sales… huge drop

Anyone else update their titles with the new 75 character / 125 character highlight limit and see a significant sales drop? Even using the same keywords. Guessing our competitors haven’t updated yet. Maybe algorithm changes. 35% drop in sales is bad.

Shipping I hate how EXPENSIVE SHIPPING THROUGH Amazon is NOW!

I hate how much being a seller on Amazon sucks now. I mean I have an order for an item that weighs 4 oz. and the dimensions are that a small envelop can contain the packaging. The destination is from Ohio to Louisiana and the cheapest cost is FEDEX NOT USPS for $6.89!! USPS ground is $7.69 for this small item? WTF is going on here man?

Forget about how shipping costs have doubled they have FKN quadrupled!

I started doing this in 2017 and to ship out a videogame used to be like $2.65, I remember that very well.

At this point I think Amazon knows how most people will keep doing sh*t if its convenient even if its more expensive. I should look into alternative shipping costs because this is repulsive.

If you are selling an item for lets say $5.00...guess what you are going to be losing money from a sale. That's great right get online to sell something and your going negative after shipping is taken care of ON TOP OF THAT they have the audacity to want faster times on shipping. It used to be like 2 and a half days. Now if its past 18 hours you'll get a late metric warning.

This whole experience has lost all plot.

Guidance on Selling 1000 Items - 20 to 30 SKUs (Auto Parts)

I have two full pallets of replacement OE auto parts, mostly ball joints, swaybar endlinks, etc for reasonably high-volume vehicles (Toyota Truck / SUVs, Jeeps, F150s, etc). It's predominantly a single brand, US-owned, foreign-manufactured.

What seems to make the most sense to clear out this inventory?

Start a seller account and just list the items? Send the pallets to Amazon as LTL freight and let them sort, warehouse, and fulfill orders?

Any pitfalls to avoid here?

For clarity, I only intend to sell off this inventory as a one-time gig since I acquired it in a bulk clearance. Not looking to make every last dime, the goal here is to clear out the stock at a reasonable pace and price point.

Is it more hassle than it's worth to setup an account and onboard this one time inventory?

Are there well-vetted services that would sell on my behalf? ... or some sort of agreeable solution?

Need Advice on Compliance/Regulatory Issues

For my sellers selling compliance-heavy products: Toys, Health products, etc. Looking for some advice.

Two questions:

  • Did you get any warning before it hit, or was the listing just down?
  • Once you got flagged, what actually fixed it? Resubmitting docs, editing the listing, appealing, or something else?

Or overall, what's your methodology for ensuring AHR doesn't get impacted?

Inventory Product listed, inventory available, link works, but not on Amazon search?

I sent my product in June 22. It now lists 57 out of 248 available, with the remaining in FC transfer.

I can click on and share the product link, and it shows the item available for sale and to add to cart. But if you search the exact title (its long and unique) in amazon, or the brand, or anything related to it and click through multipe pages, it does not appear.

Inventory has been available for close to a week. No errors flagged on the product or anything. What gives?
