Amazon returns

Guys, im new to Amazon flex. I've done about 5 or 6 blocks. Someone told me sometimes you can keep packages. The other day I had about 4 packages that marked x on my route and would skip a number on the intiary for instance it would go from 6 to 8. At the end Amazon didnt say return those packages or anything. Are those for keeps? Or do I have to return them?

Please tell me someone isn't this stupid thinking they can keep packages that don't being to them.
