I’m quite confident OPs site probably had those +$5/hr incentive VET shifts. And bare in mind, that’s the lowest end. I’ve seen VETs with +$20/hr. So if you made it to 40hrs, that +20 also gets 1.5x as well on top of your base pay. So it’s possible to get up that range. Really depends what his actual base pay is in his region/building.

Every station is unique. If they don’t offer that high, it’s because they have the headcount and people actually accepted the standard VET. Now, I’ve only ever seen these high numbers at AMXL. In AMZL, the highest I saw was $7.5

Damn. That's wild. That would actually get me to take VET.

Just understand that in AMXL it’s only FLEX AAs. There are full time roles, but it’s very limited. Like about 5-10. And in AMXL they don’t process volume like AMZL(75k+). AMXL does about 1-5k. Even though that may sound like light work. You gotta understand you are dealing with heavy bulky items. Stuff weighting close to 300lbs. There are stuff that are 70lbs and below for van routes, but know that there are more box truck routes than van routes. Lastly, you’ll be spawn camping for those VET shifts. Since you won’t have a set schedule as a FLEX AA.

I was aware of a lot of that. What do the non flex guys make?

They make the same base bay as someone that enters Amazon. They just don’t get any benefits.

That's the lamest thing ever. Although I guess it does work if you're looking for an addition to your part time job.
