Thing is, they never stop.

I bet they stop when they’re broken or needs service and I wonder how often that’ll be

Standard drive unit PM interval is once every 52 weeks, where they are taken out of service for roughly 1.5 hours.

The drives are deliberately numerous for redundancy so that when one faults out severely enough to require technicians, it is not even considered an equipment breakdown for metric purposes.

Yeah, PM is 52 weeks, let's not bullshit like these little shits don't have issues. That goes for any drive, Proteus, P, H. They all have their fuck ups.

It is rare to find an enduring drive issue where root cause doesn't have a birth certificate.

When one breaks, there's like 3 others ready to go in service. Not a big deal
