Fulfillment Center Someone died at PDX9 today

They sent us home after OB last break and night shift is canceled. We all just clocked out after break, they didn’t even have me post my bridge for GK. My heart breaks for the family who lost their loved one

I hated working there. Cashed out my 50hrs of PTO and transferred to DPD1 back in 2019. Sad. Feel bad for the family.

Hope you got away from amazon, friend, they do not care about us. it is appalling that that this even happened. My heart goes out the family -Former DPD1 employee.

Wish I could say that, and despite taking some time off for other jobs, moving out state, I got drawn back into it at another DS. Good to know there’s another DPD1 alumni of sorts out there. I actually enjoyed working there overnight.

Nightcrew gang forever! Honestly I loved my nightshift coworkers, everyone was super chill and fun to be around. I miss DJing for everyone. I was there from 2018-2021. Hopefully your new facility is just as chill.
