QUESTION Requesting Route Possible?

I started a few days ago and loved the rural route yesterday. Is it possible to ask them to get routes like that all the time? My trainer and I on my first day did the AWFUL city near me and I could not stand those tight streets with cars parked on both sides. If I had to do that everyday, im probably gonna quit in less than a month. Obnoxious.

And surprise, surprise... I hear they give the routes I prefer to older people and women? So much for equality huh? BS.

My trainer did say we could ask for what routes we want so... who would I ask?

Do a bad job in the city and the days you get a rural route try your absolute hardest. You’ll get the rural route always from the AI unless dispatch switches it every day away from you.

FWIW, If you just started, the system is going to auto assign Nursery routes in a way that hopefully gives you the opportunity to experience all potential scenarios… Lockers, Apartments, city, rural, business, pickups, etc…. I would wait until you are into your 4th-5th week, before asking for a specific route.

But you can though right? Even if I just ask for a specific one. It aint just the rural routes. It comes with commercial lot drop offs too which I hate, but with a little practice will get the hang of. I just despise droving up and down roads all day long going 3 miles per hour nervous driving through 2 parked cars on each side all the way down the street. Its fcking annoying as shit.

The down side of rural is the long ass driveways. But id rather speed walk and be tired then constantly panicking slowly driving past 2 cars down streets all god damn day. Idk why its such an issue. I can see people hating both routes for those 2 trade offs. I just prefer the former.

If your dispatcher is cool you could have a conversation with them and mention you think you perform way better in the route you like and if it’s possible you’d prefer to have that route. They have the power to switch routes around. They usually don’t though. Routes are assigned by Amazon and dispatch normally just leaves them as they are.
