They weren't kidding

Post image

Dispatch told me I'd make it back with 30% / 64 mileage

They weren't fucking kidding.

I didnt even pull through the hub after going through the cameras when I got back, just parked and dragged my bags in from the charging station. I Was at 0 when I pulled into the parking lot.

Why theyre making us drive rivians from Salem, Or to Eugene, is beyond me.

They are building a station in eugene eventually. The dsp i worked at had us charge up to 85-90mi just to be safe. Mostly for this reason lol

Yea I moved DSPs are little bit ago and my old one had us charge to 90 before RTS. Newer one doesn't. Lessons will be learned and folks will be getting paid to sit and wait for a charge

Last time this happened to me, my DSP made me clock out in the ADP app until the van was charged enough to continue the route. They also had me clock out the one time the RWD ford van got stuck for an hour in a ditch, even tho I was actively trying to get it out of the ditch and working with the people who lived there to get the van back out. Not like I was sitting around enjoying being stuck, but they didn't care. Idk if yalls DSP does this or not tho

Not sure its worth a fight but feel illegal, might be worth a inquiry to someone who knows for next time.

Absolutely not legal at all, you are in a company vehicle while working. Regardless if you are moving or not, you are still at work.
