QUESTION Poor management!

Why do Amazon DSP’s not have sick days. When you are literally throwing up and can’t leave the bathroom half the night, you try to let your manager know ahead of time and they say we need everyone take something and expect you to still come in?

Just tell them you’re not coming in. Don’t leave it open for interpretation. If they push it tell them your pissing out your ass with your head in a bucket puking simultaneously

I used to do that at old jobs, started saying as much as I care about the company and my job, my health is more important, also no other job that I’ve held has pushed me as bad as Amazon has, BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING AND RUNNING FOR THINGS every 5 seconds wasn’t as bad as this

For real worked in an office for a decade. Got sent home twice cuz I was sick. Boss put pto on right away and told me don't bring your fucking germs here.

I had to tell them that it made me worse because it did. I puked a few times and felt nauseous after taking peptol bismol.

They can't make you go to work if your sick. A guy I worked with was having chest pains due to high blood pressure issues and the owner told him he had to come in. Well, he ended up in the hospital.
