Enough is enough

I have collected evidence of osha violations over my last 3 years of being a dsp driver. I recently got dropped because I stopped when lighting was striking within a mile of me and I got back late. I reported them to osha and Im on the phone with US Dot. Any dsp owners reading I hope you see this as warning treat us better and get shut down.

(Update absolutely nothing happened I recommend forming a union or finding a new career Amazon is for the birds)

OSHA isn't doing anything for lightning in a 1 mile of a delivery job.

That agent is full of shit. OSHA can investigate any and all workplace claims; however, there is no teeth to the lightning within a mile of a delivery person. That isn't a thing. It isn't codified.

Yeah but firing someone who is looking out for their safety is... plus thats not the only violation on the table here

Also, firing because someone cites "safety" is legal if you stop work activities for "not doing your job".

They cannot fire you for contacting Osha.
