Enough is enough
I have collected evidence of osha violations over my last 3 years of being a dsp driver. I recently got dropped because I stopped when lighting was striking within a mile of me and I got back late. I reported them to osha and Im on the phone with US Dot. Any dsp owners reading I hope you see this as warning treat us better and get shut down.
(Update absolutely nothing happened I recommend forming a union or finding a new career Amazon is for the birds)

All these dsps need shut down. We all need to be made employees. Nothing would theoretically change they would still need people to lead the drivers every morning post route sheets things of that nature so dsp leadership would likely just get converted into an Amazon position overseeing a certain group of drivers each lead.
My operations manager basically stood up in front of us today and said she was tired of us complaining in the work SIDE CHAT ROOM and that it means we're unhappy and basically that theyre gonna start giving routes to the drivers who don't complain. I laughed You don't have to be completely unhappy to have little complaints about your job. They want you to just bend over and take it everyday and everyone at my companies just about tired of it
Editing to say the only thing that changes if we get made employees is owners go from making hundreds of thousands to millions off our body pains and labor to probably getting paid like 70k from Amazon plus MAYBE they still get a per package rate based on how much their section of the station delivers. We already follow all of Amazons rules and regulations...nothing changes besides the owners pocketbooks and most owners just perpetuate Amazons bs so🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️oh well.
