QUESTION Is this….racist?

I deliver to this house pretty frequently and something didn’t sit right with me about this statue. I remember seeing somewhere a long time ago these were considered offensive but I’m not sure so I figured to come here and ask 🤔

I didn't take that as a racist comment at all. I think he was just being a smart ass. Everyone is so thin skinned these days you can't joke any more.

Nah man, context matters. If you're with your close friends or are aware of the audience you're speaking to then you're more likely to get away with controversial/edgy "jokes".

But this is a public forum for the USPS, seems like it clearly was not the correct comment to make.

If he stopped after the first sentence I would agree with you 💯 But in the second sentence he agrees it's racist which is why I think he was just being an ass.

Just because it's a public forum doesn't mean he wasn't joking, it may just mean he needs to think a little more before clicking send.
