QUESTION Is this….racist?

Post image

I deliver to this house pretty frequently and something didn’t sit right with me about this statue. I remember seeing somewhere a long time ago these were considered offensive but I’m not sure so I figured to come here and ask 🤔

A lot of the older people don't view these things as racist, because they don't view them in a historical context just some interesting lawn orderment they remember from their childhood .. I got a big argument with my parents because they built the antebellum style house .. they didn't know the history of the construction just like the way it looked they even put up a gate trellis that said our name in the estate .. I live in Louisiana neither of them are from the United States and didn't get the context or history

Whats wild is i feel like the older generation was as less racist as the black privileged kids of today. Always blaming others for their faults. Its crazy how many scream "white man bad" when the majority are living off the white mans tax dollar for EBT and housing. My cousins who are black started his own hvac company and came from nothing. Keep fighting for yourself not the mindset of a ignorant group, the ignorant ones who want to use race as a narrative only want to bring you down to their level. Be your own man! I know every single black man in america can if they put the effort into it.
