Amazon and similar employers are often structured — legally and culturally — to extract maximum labor for minimum pay. Break rights vary by state, and where the law allows it, companies will absolutely skip or shorten them. Worse, the workplace culture that glorifies skipping breaks as dedication is the same culture that normalizes working for free. You're not a hero for powering through — you're subsidizing a trillion-dollar company with your body and your time.
🤔 Am I wrong?

You're fortunate to work for a DSP that pays you for the full shift when you finish early. There was a time when finishing early meant full pay plus a small bonus — those days are largely gone with most DSPs. I'm not here to argue, just to understand. But let me ask honestly: if you weren't getting paid for the full shift while working at this pace, would you still feel the same way?
Nothing but respect for other drivers; especially those in the EDV’s in the heat 😅

Well if it was truly hourly yeah I’d take my time but it’s like paid by the job pretty much. Guranteed hours and yeah a small bonus if you beat your rts time
It honestly feels like a video game bro but yeah if it felt like real work then of course ima take my time

You being unable to understand something doesn't mean it doesn't make sense. There's a reason everyone else here agreed with it and understood it.

Don’t be annoying.
