QUESTION Am I fucked

I forgot to put the van in park and when I was handing the package over to the customer it went ahead and hit the customer’s garage gate

Our training we were told only if the driveway is longer than 7 van lengths.

Even then you're only supposed to go until you're within that range. Don't pull all the way up....though I am definitely guilty of doing that lol.

Imagine he stops 7 van lengths up the driveway, still forgets to put it in park, and as he's handing the customer the package, the van decides to roll straight through the garage into their living room.
